Problem
Low search query growth in commercial verticals, such as real estate, stems from a lack of high-quality information, including missing images, prices, and locations, as well as insufficient incentives and ease of use for rental listings.
Collaborative Jam Session
Collaborated with the PM to establish the vertical framework and explore potential ad experiences. This session resulted in the selection of three key ad experiences, along with sponsored actions to enable users to thoughtfully engage with advertisers.
Tradeoffs and Iterations
I identified a potential user experience issue with the PM's proposed ad placement within filtered lists, as it could lead to confusion between ads and organic results. To address this, I designed a solution that maintained the quality of the search experience while effectively highlighting advertisements. I then used wireframes to clearly illustrate this revised approach.
High Fidelity Mocks
Following wireframe and UX flow approval, I developed high-fidelity mockups and validated the design through prototyping, proactively identifying potential usability issues.
